摘要
In providing and billing for care, such as end of life, palliative, and restorative care, the organization is held accountable for demonstrating and documenting care provision that meets acceptable standards. In order to achieve quality care and maintain compliance with acceptable standards, it is important for providers and leaders to be aware of those associations and organizations that provide practice standards and recommendations for care elements. By accessing and maintaining a knowledge base, accompanied by demonstrated competency, organizations can ensure that care meets established expectations. This is essential in compliance and risk management. © 2007 Sage Publications.
