摘要：
A new collar rot disease of Parthenium hysterophorus L. caused by Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc. has been reported. Results obtained in green house and field investigations suggest that the fungus is responsible for the decline in the population of Parthenium seedling to the extent of 90-95% and 34-40%, respectively.
