摘要
The buckling behaviour of circular cylindrical composite shells under axial compression, bending, and combined compression-bending is studied. Both Donnell- and refined Love-type equations of motion are solved using Galerkin's method. Numerical results reflecting a wide range of radius-to-thickness and length-to-thickness ratios are presented and discussed. The interaction between axial compression and bending in the combined loading case show significant deviation from the linear noninteracting beam-column type solutions.
