CHANGE IN THE CHARGE-DENSITY WAVE CHARACTERISTIC OF NBSE3 BY INTRODUCTION OF COPPER ATOMS INTO THE CRYSTAL

摘要
NbSe//3 is a quasi-unidimensional material which exhibits two charge-density wave transitions. The crystals used in this experiment show transitions at T//2 approximately equals 145 K and T//1 approximately equals 58 K and were grown by the iodine vapor transport method from stoichiometric components. The residual ratio of these crystals is poor (RRR approximately equals 4) as expected because of the iodine impurities. The idea of this experiment was to change the resistance temperature characteristic by the diffusion of metallic atoms into the NbSe//3 crystals.
