摘要
The construction of a multisection liquid argon ionization chamber for the double beta decay experiment is presented. Its volume is 90 1. The Ti-sponge purification system and the purity control detector were specially constructed for this chamber. A single passage of commercial argon through the purification system at a rate of approximately 0.6 M3/h yields a gas of purity 1.9 x 10(-9) equivalent O2. Measurement range of the purity control detector is 10(-1) - 10(12) equivalent O2.
