STANDARDIZATION OF EU-152 BY 2-DIMENSIONAL EXTRAPOLATION

摘要
Europium 152 activity has been standardised by 4πβ(ppc)-γ(HPGe) coincidence counting using a live-timed bi-dimensional data acquisition system. A computer-based discrimination method was used to derive the two-dimensional efficiency function and give reliable results, as well as providing a useful check on the conventional efficiency extrapolation method. The estimated uncertainty was approximately 0.2%, even for relatively low gamma counting efficiency. © 1990.
