摘要
This article is based on the assumption that there are two modes of producing language (a rule-based mode and an exemplar-based mode). A task-based approach to language learning based on tasks seems to take this characteristic and the actual circumstances of language use into account. Macro-tasks complemented by micro-tasks are shown to meet the requirements of L2 institutional learning. Concrete examples will support the argument.
