摘要
This research attempts to tackle, in a summarized way, the hermeneutic theory of Hans-Georg Gadamer, the German philosopher who tries to restore the sciences of the spirit, dealing with the epistemological approaches of the different sciences. At the same time, it explains how the universal hermeneutics of Gadamer conceive art as a special kind of language that generates a dialogue with the observer, who has been prepared previously by his/her different situational and temporal horizons. According to this philosophy, art approaches a type of truth that must not be subjected to verifying criteria that do not belong to it.
