摘要
The article addresses the use of flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) with the relatively new all-position electrodes. FCAW is actually a gas metal-arc welding (GMAW) variation. It is shown that all-position FCAW is a higher-performance alternative to short circuiting mode GMAW, and that joints made using the process can meet the most stringent code requirements.
