摘要：

For the selective catalytic reduction of NO(x) by NH3 in the flue gas from a coal fired boiler the reactor technology is explained in terms of reaction mechanisms and formulas describing the reactor operation. Actual reactor performance results are compared with the formulas derived from bench scale unit test results. The design of the reactor types and the NH3-injection system are explained. Operating experience on catalyst behaviour and reactor performance is reported.
