摘要
Previous studies on innovation performance, knowledge sharing and HRM practices have primarily been performed in Western contexts, so additional empirical evidence is required to understand the importance and role of knowledge sharing in a non-Western context. Therefore, this research has two objectives: to assess the impact of HRM practices on innovation performance as well as to test the mediating impact of knowledge sharing on the relationships among HRM practices and innovation performance. Using multiple regression analysis on a sample of 202 respondents from three organisations operating in the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, this study shows that knowledge sharing is positively related to perceived firm innovation performance. This study also shows that selected HRM practices are positively related to a firm's perceived innovation performance. The findings show positive relationships among knowledge sharing, HRM practices and innovation performance.
