摘要：

One of the main objectives of literature professors is to socialize their practise gained throughout their educational background. This is the reason why professors can and should be, not only readers but also researchers of the reading practices taking place in their own communities. This paper aims to consider two different texts in which researching is socialized in high-school classrooms. The first one is Martin Kohan's short story, "Muero contento"; the second one belongs to the same author, "Los cautivos" but it is analysed together with Esteban Echeverria's "El matadero".
