摘要：

Applicability of the Langmuir and the Freundlich equations for describing the radionuclide uptake of various chemical groups by plants from soil is tested. Both equations adequately describe the experimental results, but the Langmuir equation within the framework of a two-compartment model have a specific physical significance and may denote the role of various soil and plant properties in determining values of the accumulation factors.
