摘要
FT Raman spectroscopy is used to study a series of commercial samples of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) with controlled thermal history, as a function of the degree of extension. Some observations are made with regard to bands which appear in the spectra of the drawn samples, and seem to be associated with the presence of trans conformers which are introduced into the non-crystalline regions of the material by the drawing process.
