Model for the efficacy measurement of informatics projects in an academic dependency at Universidad Juarez Autonoma de Tabasco, Mexico

The creation of a systematic model to measure the effectiveness of informatic projects of students and advisers in the Informatics and Systems Academic Division (DAIS) at Universidad Juarez Autonoma de Tabasco (UJAT), allows to make decisions for the improvement of the projects quality; the used of strategies for the continuous improvement; the formalization of the entailment with the diverse sectors for the development of software projects, and their results could be used as academic degree modality or professional practices. With a deductive investigation and an approach of mixed type (cuali-quantitative), the universe of 89 informatic projects -that have a technological application-was studied which were made for different organizations from the Tabasco State during 2005, by DAIS's advanced students. The investigation was oriented under the systems theory, understanding that four actors participate in the elaboration of each project: student (s), adviser, protocol of investigation revision committee, and the director or manager of each organization. As far as the obtaining of information, it was designed four questionnaires as primary sources, and it was carried out a documentary research as a secondary source. The proposed hypothesis is that the informatics projects made by the students for different organizations from the Tabasco Sate are really effective.
