摘要：

In a population of L 5178 Y mouse leukaemia cells exposed to continuous 1 MHz ultrasonic irradiation in aqueous suspension culture, cells which are in M during the irradiation are found to have a susceptibility to ultrasonic disintegration that is significantly above the average for the population. A fractional irradiation regime however, with ultrasound pulses sufficiently short (≤ 1 msec) that the disintegration mechanism is inhibited, does not lead to detectable changes in the cell proliferation pattern. © 1969.
