摘要
The aim of this article is to demonstrate a method for studying knee joint cartilage to be used in a 3.0 Tesla (3.0 T) MRI device. The use of proton density-weighted sequences, with and without fat suppression, and the precise setting of the image parameters to the requisites of 3.0 T, give very high resolution images with an optimum contrast between structures, so that the elements of interest can be observed with greater accuracy. A more powerful magnetic field in uences the setting of the image parameters and provides useful advantages. (C) 2011 ACTEDI. Published by Elsevier Espana, S.L. All rights reserved.
