摘要
The authors describe a mathematical model for calculating the degree of wear of work and back-up rolls during their interaction in four-high stands. The model is based on the force and kinematic conditions obtaining during rolling and idling, the surface hardness of the rolls, and the forms of slip occurring during rolling. A comparison of experimental and theoretical data for a batch of strip rolled in a single roll campaign is presented.
