Proto-Slavic, Language Contact and Contact Linguistics

摘要：
The purpose of the present paper is to show that within the research on the language contact of Proto-Slavic with other language groups, current trends in contact linguistics can and should be considered. Two language contact models are presented and compared: the theory of Sarah G. Thomason and the theory of Frans van Coetsem. Some of their principles are applied to the contact situation of Proto-Slavic with Iranian.
