摘要
The desorption isotherms of iodine from the catalyst of iodine-activated carbon were measured in a flow system. It was found that the equilibrium data of iodine between gas and solid can satisfy the Freundlish equation C(s) = Kp1/n with K = 9.778 X 10(-7) exp (4462.2/T) and n = 1.76 where C(s) is the iodine content in the catalyst [kg I2/kg carbon], p is the partial pressure (Pa). This catalyst is prepared by immersing activated carbon in an I2-KI aqueous solution.
