摘要：

A number of compounds related to picrotoxinin have been tested for ability to mimic the action of that compound. Active compounds have a free bridgehead hydroxyl group and a lactone ring connecting carbons 3 and 5 of the picrotoxane (I) skeleton. The axial isopropenyl substituent group of picrotoxinin appears to have a role in determining potency. © 1968, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
