摘要
The article outlines a general view about ethics in scientific spreading. It presents definitions of ethics and related terms to author's responsibility, as well as ethical factors that are present in the spreading of science in scientific journals, in electronic media and many other current channels of knowledge diffusion. It approaches ethics in scientific editing, pointing out the importance of awareness of those involved in the publishing cycle, in the different types of authorship, evaluation and edition, emphasizing the righteousness of knowledge. It discusses the commercial repercussion generated from distorted research results, showing the frailty of the publishing system when used as a means to spread these results.
