摘要
The plutonic-volcanic complex of Nda Ali belongs to the continental part of the Cameroon Line. It is composed of: 1) a core of plutonic sequence of gabbro-diorite-monzonite-syenite type and 2) a margin of volcanic rock comprising hawaiite and trachyte dykes, penecontemporaneous to the plutonic mass, and a late volcanic series which includes both undersaturated (benmoreite and phonolites) and saturated (trachyte domes) lavas. Rock-forming minerals of these plutonic and volcanic formations indicate: 1) their alkaline character, with peralkaline affinities in the evolved terms; and 2) their crystallization from a common undersaturated magmatic source.
