摘要
This paper describes the design approaches, both at the cabinet level and at the building level, to controlling the interference field radiated from telecommunication equipment in a central office. A new cabinet shielding design described here has a shielding effectiveness at least 20 dB higher than that of the conventional standard cabinet and its other properties (such as cooling ability and cable capacity) are as good as those of the standard cabinet. A method developed for predicting radiated interference field distribution both inside and outside a building estimates values that are within a few decibels of measured values.
