摘要
A theory of creep deformation caused by crazing is developed on the basis of a dislocation analog and is compared with experiments performed under the action of a crazing agent, kerosene. The theoretical curves are quantitatively approximated by the widely used creep equation similar to the Nutting equation. The theory, therefore, suggests a physical foundation for the empirical equation. Good agreement between the theory and experiment is evidence that the dislocation-analog approach is a valuable method for studying craze plastic deformation and provides motivation for further study of stress-strain and stress relaxation curves.
