摘要
Consequences of deep rolling processes combined with thermal treatments, i.e. deep rolling at elevated temperatures and deep rolling with subsequent annealing are studied for steel SAE 1045 in different heat treatment states. In both cases, compared with conventional deep rolling treatments, fatigue strength is increased. Near surface microstructures and residual stress states as well as their stability under fatigue loading conditions are investigated. For this purpose, residual stress-,FWHM-and hardness-depth distributions are analysed.
