摘要：

In the title salt, [Cd(C6H15NO3)(2)](C8H4O4), the Cd2+ cation is coordinated by six O atoms and two N atoms from two tetradentate 2-[bis(2-hydroxyethyl) amino] ethanol ligands, displaying a distorted square-antiprismatic coordination. The terephthalate dianion does not coordinate to the cation but is connected through O center dot center dot center dot H-O hydrogen bonds of medium strength to the complex cations, leading to a layered structure extending parallel to (100).
