Simulation of superplastic sheet forming and bulk forming

摘要
In this paper a superplastic finite-element modeling program is set up, then some calculation examples of the axi-symmetrical superplastic bulging problem are presented and the optimal technological parameters obtained by comparison of simulation results for different bulging pressures and dimensions of the die. Finally, the axi-symmetrical superplastic piercing process is simulated also with this program, and the deformation regularity of the hobbing of a die cavity is analysed, which can contribute to the establishing of relevant process criteria.
