Attention is drawn to the line strength in the observed 1SIGMA+-3SIGMA- transitions as compared to what is expected from theory. While the theoretical forecast is a fairly simple function, the available experimental results show an evident variety of behaviors. Emissions in (O)P and (S)R branches of PH, N H and NF are considered.
