摘要：

A new metallographic reagent for lead and its alloys was developed to simplify polishing operations, to eliminate the hardened superficial layer and to ensure surface brightening in a single operation. The volume composition of this reagent is the following : 80 % glycerol, 5 % concentrated nitric acid and 15 % hydrogen peroxide at 30 volumes.
