摘要
The reactions of CHCl(X1A') with NO(X) and O2(X) were investigated at room temperature in the gas phase using a quasistatic vacuum reaction cell. CHCl was generated by pulsed exciplex laser photolysis of CHClBr2 and detected directly by laser induced fluorescence (LIF). Reaction rates were determined from concentration profiles of CHCl under first order reaction conditions ([CHCl] much less than [R]): k(NO) = (9 +/- 3) x 10(12) cm3/mol s k(O2) less-than-or-equal-to 3 x 10(10) cm3/mol s. The reactivity of CHCl versus NO and O2 is compared to the reactivities of other triatomic carbenes.
