NEW SPECIES OF TARSONEMUS (ACARINA - TARSONEMI99DAE) ASSOCIATED WITH BARK BEETLES

Four new species of Tarsonemus are described and illustrated: T. ipsT. triarcusT. subcorticalis, and T. endophloeus. All are subcortical associates of bark beetles in conifers. A key is provided to distinguish these species and other tarsonemids which commonly coexist in habitats provided primarily by ipine bark beetles. © 1969, Entomological Society of Canada.
