摘要
To learn about the water cycle and to act responsibly requires activating a complex knowledge and taking into account many other aspects than to reduce his consumption. In our country (Catalonia, Spain), the water content at school is reduced to interpret a representation of the natural cycle already given. In that representation the water circulation in the city is not included and the environmental attitudes are limited to list actions for his saving. This approach makes that some of the difficulties of understanding and alternative visions of primary students are not surpass and in many cases continue without being overcome at the end of compulsory education. This research identifies the conditions that contribute to more meaningful contextual "water" learning from both scientific and environmental perspective. Results identify some strategies to make activities more significant for learning.
