摘要
A study of the one-stage precipitation stripping process of lanthanum and neodymium is presented. Rare earth element-loaded solvent (M2EHPA-D2EHPA mixture in kerosene) was stripped with a sulphuric acid solution containing potassium sulphate, sodium sulphate or ammonium sulphate as a precipitating agent. Stripping and precipitation efficiencies were determined for various acid and added salt concentrations in the strip solution. The precipitates contained lanthanum or neodymium double sulphates as a main component. However, co-precipitated salts were also present which depending on the strip solution, were potassium hydrogensulphate, sodium sulphate or lanthanum/neodymium sulphate.
