摘要：

Zinc oxide is a very important material which can be used for numerous industrial applications. Its catalytic properties have been widely studied. The structural and physico-chemical properties of zinc oxide are briefly reviewed. The adsorption sites of H//2, CO, CO//2 are discussed and related to the CO plus H//2 and CO//2 plus H//2 reaction mechanisms.
