Artist of memory: the narrative of Franklin Joaquim Cascaes

Study obout a the collection's art of the Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - MARQUE UFSC - where images can be instruments or disposals of memories, evocative of remembers, information support and documents of historical discourses. The goal is to identify and analyze in Franklin drawings its relationship with the memory and identity of the city of Florianopolis, in order to establish relations between the equity and the artwork. The theory research is linked to the heritage and memory, through the methodology of documental analysis. These works are representative of Florianopolis city's architecture, its religion, its popular tradition, their productive activities, their festivals.
