摘要
Al-4.0 at% Zn alloys were irradiated by 25 keV He+, 20 keV D+ ions and 2 MeV electrons at temperatures from 300 to 573 K. After the irradiation, the foil specimens were observed by electron microscopy and examined by EDXS. The He+ irradiation showed radiation-induced heterogeneous precipitation at grain boundaries at 453 K, while the electron irradiation showed homogeneously induced precipitation at the same temperature. Radiation-induced segregation to grain boundaries was observed at 453 K, and the amount of the segregation increased in this order: electron, D+ and He+ irradiations. The heterogeneous-induced precipitation by the He+ irradiation is thought to be caused by the enhancement of the solute segregation to grain boundaries.
