摘要
Within the postmodern examination of the dichotomy of writing literature and writing history, and in the context of the traumatic history of Central Europe, this work analyzes the writings of two authors - Viktor Car Emin and Drago Gervais. Like the majority of Central European writers, they lived through the intrusion of uninvited history in terms of the occupation of their homeland and their subsequent exile. This is the very contextual framework of their social, political, and indeed literary activities. This article shows that these authors' literary works portray historical events, historical figures, and the consequences these, in order that their reinterpretations reconstruct general/generally accepted views of the past.
