In this paper we estimate distances between two soft obstacles in terms of corresponding scattering amplitudes. The estimate is of logarithmic type and it is obtained by using estimates for continuation of solutions of elliptic equations and some methods of potential theory. Scattering amplitudes are given for one frequency comparable with size of scatterer and for all directions of receiver.
