摘要：
Tourism as a phenomenon that provides the mobility of society deserves a historical study linked to the elements that identify the tourist and cultural activities in distant countries. From the perspective of theoretical-conceptual contribution, the present work shows the facts in a historical perspective and local tourist differentiated geographically. The article discusses categories as history, tourism and society in two destinations in Latin America. The text holds the two main axes: the first deals with the study of history, tourism and society in the city of Guanajuato, Mexico, the second part presents an analysis of history, party, identity and tourism in Aracaju, Brazil.
