摘要
The damage and deformation mechanisms of fiber-reinforced titanium alloy-matrix composites are strongly dependent on the fiber strength, interfacial shear strength, matrix toughness (ductility), and external loading conditions. Damage mechanism diagrams for the fiber-reinforced titanium-matrix composites under different thermal and mechanical loading can be used as a guideline for developing microscopic and macroscopic fracture criteria, the design of new composite systems, and the selection of composite processing parameters.
