摘要
Family, twin and adoption studies have revealed that genetic factors contribute to the risk of development of schizophrenia. This encouraged the search of molecular genetics for gene markers of schizophrenia. Soon quite convincing positive linkage results were published (regarding chromosomes 5, 11, 2, 9, and the autosomal region) but neither of these findings proved capable of replication. We review the most prominent and recent findings and discuss further regions of interest.
