摘要
The bisdiazonium compound 1 has been shown to cleave DNA at concentrations as low as 0.1 mu M. Evidence is presented to indicate that 1 is binding to the minor groove of DNA, and that binding may be responsible for its effectiveness as a DNA cleaving reagent.
