摘要
The aim of this paper is to compile the elaborated in last years cognitive-behavioural theories regarding patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and the practical implications of these theories. Presented clinical models of the BPD reflect development of cognitive-behavioural conceptualizations, ranging from classical A. Beck's model of depression treatment to approaches which regard disorders as an effect of complicated cognitive and emotional interchange between a person and her/his environment. Through this presentation of conceptualization and models of cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) described by A.Beck, M.M. Linehan, R.Tumer, J.Young, A.Amtz and M.Reinecke, the Polish-speaking students can acquaint with the present output of the CBT regarding the borderline disorder patients.
