QUALITY ASSURANCE WITH RECLAIMED ENGINEERING PLASTICS

The reuse of production scrap from the injection moulding shop has been state of the art for quite some time. On the basis of property comparisons between virgin material and material with differing proportions of regrind, the report shows that recycled material can also be used in engineering parts. The study into the short and long-term properties gives information about the potential uses of recycled material and about the possible requirement of stabilizers.
