摘要
Introduction: Breast cancer (BC) is the first cause of oncologic death among woman. Breast, lung and unknown primary cancer are the primaries that induce ocular metastases with high frequency. Uveal tract is the ocular structure affected frequently by metastatic activity. Methods: We reported a case of a young woman with early BC, HER2 positive, who developed choroidal metastases on the left eye as the first feature of recurrent disease. Results: External radiation and chemotherapy induced complete remission of the lesion. Twelve months after ocular metastases, the patient developed metastases to cerebellum and leptomeningeal carcinomatosis more latter. Conclusions: All metastatic BC patients with ocular symptoms should be evaluated by an ophthalmologist. External radiation is an effective modality to treat these kind metastases. New approaches are ongoing to evaluation.
