Addition of stochastic bond energies (modeling the energy landscape with a dispersion Delta epsilon) to the neighbor-facilitated 2d Fredrickson model shows a cooperativity onset of the alpha relaxation at T=(1.17 +/- 0.02) Delta epsilon separated from the permanent local p process by about one frequency decade. A large curvature in the Arrhenius diagram is found for alpha that can be WLF extrapolated to a Vogel temperature of T infinity approximate to (0.33 +/- 0.05) Delta epsilon. The less mobile regions for alpha are connected and indicate a characteristic length of several nanometers for the glass transition.
