SOLITONS IN LOW-ENERGY EFFECTIVE THEORY OF THE 4-FERMI MODEL IN 2+1 DIMENSIONS

摘要
We consider a four-Fermi theory with SU(N)×SU(K) global symmetry in the large K limit. We derive the low energy lagrangian in the phase in which SU(N) is broken down to U(N × 1). The quantum numbers of solitons in this model (which is the CPN-1 model with Chern-Simons terms) are calculated. The solitons are identified withbound states of K elementary fermions in the original four-Fermi lagrangian. © 1990.
