摘要
A new paramagnetic defect is observed by EPR in Co3O4 samples doped with lithium (up to 2 mol%) in air at 1073K. These paramagnetic centers are identified as Co2+ ions in (48f) interstitials. The defect cobalt ions originate from reactions of intrinsic disorder with interstitial lithium ions.
