摘要
Ethylene regulates berberine production in cell suspension cultures of Thalictrum minus, by activating the biosynthesis of berberine from the key intermediate (S)-reticuline. In the late stage of culture, however, ethylene promoted the formation of bound polyphenolics, which was associated with cell browning.
